Luis R. Sanchez
Luis R. Sanchez, Esq. is a partner with the firm of Sanchez, Sanchez and Santoliquido, Esqs.
Born in Cuba, Mr. Sanchez came to the United States in 1960. He attended Seton Hall Preparatory School, which was then located in South Orange, NJ. Upon graduation, he was co-recipient of the Most Representative Setonian Award, an annual award given to the graduating senior who best exemplified the ideals of Seton Hall Preparatory School. He was also awarded a full Presidential Scholarship to St. Joseph’s College, Philadelphia, PA and was graduated in 1972 with a Political Science major. Thereafter, Mr. Sanchez attended Seton Hall University School of Law and was graduated in May of 1975. He was sworn in as an attorney on December 9, 1975.
Through two years of law school and for a time after graduation, Mr. Sanchez worked at Kohn, Kirsch and Needle, a law firm in Newark, NJ. On September 1, 1977, he established his own practice providing services in general law. The firm became known as Sanchez, Sanchez & Santoliquido in 1985 after Manuel Sanchez and Joseph Santoliquido joined the practice.
Named by New Jersey Monthly a New Jersey “Super Lawyer” in General Practice Law in 2005, Mr. Sanchez specializes in the general practice of law, with an emphasis in personal injury, residential and commercial real estate transactions, workers' compensation claims, and a vast variety of other matters, as he has been totally dedicated to the needs of his clientele. He has also been an arbitrator in the Union County Superior Court.
Mr. Sanchez has served on various committees of the New Jersey Supreme Court and of the New Jersey State Bar Association, including:
Union County District Ethics Committee; Chairman during the 1989-1990 term
New Jersey Ethics Commission (Judge Michels’ Committee) 1992 – 1993
Trustee of the New Jersey Lawyers Fund For Client Protection; 1992 – 1996; Chairman in 1996, and presently a Trustee for a second term, beginning 2005 with a term to expire in 2010

Manuel P. Sanchez
Manuel P. Sanchez, Esq. is a partner with the firm of Sanchez, Sanchez and Santoliquido, Esqs.
Born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, Mr. Sanchez came to the United States with his family in 1960. He attended Dickinson High School in Jersey City, NJ and St. Joseph’s High School in West New York, NJ, graduating in 1963. He attended Seton Hall University and graduated in 1967 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Upon graduation, he worked for W.T. Grants in their Management Training Program for one year. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1968, serving for two years and achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1970, he worked for Bloomingdale’s Department Stores, in New York City as well as at various locations and in different capacities. While working for Bloomingdale’s, he attended Seton Hall University Graduate School of Business part-time, graduating in 1979 with an M.B.A.
Mr. Sanchez decided to leave Bloomingdale’s and became the office administrator at the law firm of his brother, Luis R. Sanchez, Esq. He decided to continue with his education and attended Seton Hall University School of Law full time, while working part time at the law firm. He graduated in May 1984 and was sworn in as an attorney on December 20, 1984. He then became a partner at Sanchez, Sanchez & Santoliquido with his brother Luis R. Sanchez and Joseph C. Santoliquido, their brother in law.
Mr. Sanchez is fluent in Spanish and English. He and his partners often provide services to several generations of the same family. While the firm provides services over a broad range of practice areas, Mr. Sanchez specializes in residential and commercial real estate transaction; zoning and planning board applications; workers' compensation claims, municipal court matters, and contract disputes as well as other matters, as needed by his clients.
In 1998, Mr. Sanchez opened the firm's satellite office in his hometown of South Plainfield, at 142 Oak Tree Avenue, as part of his commitment to meet the needs of the community, as well as the needs of the firm's clients, some of which found it inconvenient to travel to the Elizabeth office after relocating to other areas.
Mr. Sanchez is a long-standing member of the Union County Bar Association, where he enjoys serving on the Real Estate Committee. He is a former member of the New Jersey Supreme Court District Fee Arbitration Committee, where he worked to ensure that attorneys did not overcharge their clients. He is a founding member of the Elizabeth Avenue Partnership and current member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Elizabeth Avenue Partnership, which promotes the interests of hundreds of merchants and residents in revitalizing and enhancing this historic shopping district.

She has extensive experience representing clients in a variety of matters, including negligence claims, insurance coverage, consumer fraud claims, contract disputes, wrongful death, and real estate title claims.
